I. Objectives
1.Create and refine national inquiriessystems for systematic investigations and research, torture prevention, and victim assistance mechanisms; strengthen capabilities for safeguarding and advancing human rights
2.Adopt international conventions, establish a mechanism for evaluating the government’s implementation of human rights policies, play an independent and professional role
3.Consolidate public and private resources, expand international exchange networks, promote human rights education through a variety ofvarious methods
II. Six main strategies
Strategy 1: Respond to and provide remedies for human rights violations
Strategy 2: Establish a human rights database and related indicators; study and review national human rights policies
Strategy 3: Provide independent assessments and opinions for national reports on human rights conventions
Strategy 4: Bring together public and private groups and organizations through collaborations and exchanges to jointly promote the protection of human rights
Strategy 5: Align with international practices; establish an international human rights exchange platform
Strategy 6: Strengthen social communication, enhance human rights awareness, helpand help human rights education to take root
