The International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families

The International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (ICMW) was passed by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 45/158 in 1990 and officially entered into force on July 1, 2003. The content includes a broad scope of medical care, education, justice, elections, social welfare, insurance, and immigration policies for migrant workers and their family members. An enforcement law for ICMW has not yet been passed in Taiwan.
