John Dennis, visited the Control Yuan and praised Chen Chu's contribution to the democracy of Taiwan

With the pandemic worsening in Taiwan and the nationwide alert for coronavirus being raised to a higher level in recent days, many groups for the disabled have lodged complaints with the National Human Rights Commission. The successive outbreak in healthcare-associated organizations illustrates that persons with disabilities and health care providers are at high risk of contracting the coronavirus. For disease prevention, the government implements essential preventative measures, including suspending statutory support services at institutions and communities, without providing the necessary assistance to the disabled at home. Furthermore, the needs of those with chronic diseases were overlooked and psychological counseling services were also suspended, all of which significantly impacted the survivability and safety of the persons with disabilities.
